Now that we've gotten past the usual education, work history and samples, I thought I’d share a few things about myself that even my closest friends may not even know.

  • I haven't eaten a cheeseburger in more than 30 years

  • I was Salutatorian of my high school class

  • I can turn my thumb 180 degrees

  • I despise all condiments (Unless salsa is a condiment, then I take that back)

  • I am ambidextrous (I eat, write and bat left-handed. I throw and iron right-handed. Does that count?)

  • In college, I won a trip to visit the set of my favorite soap opera (Bonus if you can guess which one)

  • I've had the same exact hair style since the 1980's (And I live in Jersey, so that could be a problem)

  • It drives me nuts when I see a typo in a magazine, book or any published peace (Just testing. See, isn't it annoying?)

  • I spend my vacations visiting major league ballparks—and minor ones, too (Especially if they're near a beach)

  • I tossed my cookies every single day in kindergarten (It's a long story)
